Born and raised in the South Bronx, James started his musical journey at the tender age of 11. His resume reads like a collage ... From concert bands to Jazz ensembles ... From Gospel Choirs to Gospel Trios ... From Country Rock bands to a Punk Rock band. His style is that of no style at all.   "Just play for the music", he said in a recent interview.  James went on to say, “my only regret is that I never had the chance to be on a drum line ... But then, I ain’t dead yet!"
