"Dangerous Dave" Messler
on bass. What's so dangerous
about playing bass? Actually nothing, however it has been rumored that Dave runs with scissors, goes swimming right
after eating and has even gone to bed with wet hair.

Dave says that's just not true, he never goes to bed with wet hair. Dave has been playing bass ever since the director of his junior high school orchestra asked him to switch from violin to upright bass because there was nobody else in the orchestra big enough to play the bass. Dave comes to Night Breeze & Tallahassee from South Florida where he played in a variety of bands over the past thirty some years.

Dave has played in bands covering a wide variety of styles including rock, folk, blues, jazz & rockabilly.

Dave's bands have performed shows with many national artists such as Steve Miller, Dave Mason, Buddy Guy & Jr. Wells, Tower of Power, The Supremes and many others.
