Planning a Wedding with Live Entertainment?  Do you want to make sure you don't get just another "wedding band"? Here's an option for you that will guarantee the most incredible event of your life. Tallahassee's Night Breeze Band will perform all your favorite hits from the decades with professionalism and flair. Night Breeze makes each song memorable and fun, yet performs with conviction and authority.

Pacing: Ever get tired of watching the dance floor empty out while the band tries to figure out what to play next? Pacing is everything at your Wedding Reception.  Night Breeze performs seamlessly from one song to the next, keeping the dance floor packed, like a programmed mix, but with the live energy that only a live band can give. Band on break? We'll supply all break music in any category of your choice.

Appearance: Nothing is worse than having entertainers look out of place at an event. Night Breeze is always dressed in suits and ties. You will never be embarrassed by this band.

Sound: Here's another common problem "the band's too loud!" or, "I can't hear the vocals!" These are sound problems. A professional sound engineer who knows the act intimately will never let that happen. That's why our Bassist is a professional sound engineer. He knows how to the volume level that is appropriate to the venue and the event. One of the most common compliments we receive from clients is that we have the best sound mix of any live band they've ever heard. We carry our own state of the art sound system, as well as those provided by professional sound companies.

MC Services: Our bandleaders are accomplished public personalities with years of experience as Masters of Ceremonies.  In addition to being exceptional performers, our M.C.'s are genuine, charming and quick-witted when communicating with audiences.  M.C. duties are included at no extra charge. We will work with the event planner to coordinate all the announcements, bringing in the bridal party with flair and humor, facilitating toasts and the cake cutting. No need to hire a separate MC when you have Night Breeze. You'll already be getting one of the best!

Extra Services: Need a more intimate atmosphere for the dinner or cocktail hour? We are capable of performing jazz (duo, trio or full band) that will set the tone for the rest of the event. If cocktails are adjacent to or separate from the reception hall, we can provide a small set-up (for duo or trio jazz) and can go from one room into another seamless without moving any equipment. Night Breeze members' versatility shines here and creates an elegant mood with beautiful music that never overwhelms the moment. Sophisticated instrumental music that sets the mood is always in style. Explore these elegant options to enhance your event.

Music Selections: Picking the right music for the moment is what this band does best. Having a vast play list to choose from helps, but knowing what song or style will work best in any particular moment is an art that takes years to acquire. Night Breeze will "read" the crowd and consistently pull up songs that will be a hit and keep the dance floor packed. In addition, we will work with you to select just the right song for that special Bride/Groom First Dance, or Father/Bride, Mother/Groom - Dance. And if it's not already in our repertoire, we'll learn it for you!

A Few FAQ's

Once I decide I'd like Night Breeze at my event, how long can I wait before I book the band? It is highly recommended to book the band as soon as possible. We consistently get multiple requests for the same date, thus making our schedule highly competitive.

Can I hold the band without a deposit? Unfortunately we cannot restrict our booking by refusing to consider other potential clients for the same date. Upon request we may grant you "the first right of refusal," so as we receive additional requests for the same date, we will give you 24 hours to accept the contract and deposit before providing the other client the same opportunity.

Will the band provide recorded music for the breaks? Yes. The band has an extensive play-list of songs that will seamlessly fill the breaks. The play-list can range from soft jazz or wedding love songs to dance favorites that are consistent with our repertoire. You are also welcome to provide us with your own song choices.  There is no additional fee for this service.

What if I need to change the performance times on my contract? Please let us know immediately so we can notify all of the musicians. To avoid any possible scheduling conflicts, we ask that no event start times be altered within the 2 weeks prior to your event. The request of clients to delay our start-time (i.e. ceremony or photography runs late) does not alter our end-time without incurring overtime payment.

Can the band play over the time on the contract? If you decide that you want the band to play beyond our scheduled time (you must have approval of the venue), just let us know before the last hour of contracted end time. A gentlemen agreement will be negotiated for additional time and cost.   

Can I choose the songs we want played at the event? You can pick songs from our song list website. We suggest you pick up to 10 songs you definitely want to hear or do not want played. Please allow us some creative freedom with regard to the performance. We will do our best to play your specific requests while continuously gauging the genre of music your guests are responding to.

Is tipping the band appropriate? Tips are NOT expected but are certainly appreciated.

Does the band bring their own lighting or stage for outdoor events? Lighting will be brought for the band only.  However, if we are going to be exposed to the outdoor elements it is necessary for the venue or client to provide adequate staging, shade or heat, depending on the season.  Our instruments and equipment are very expensive and can be adversely affected by harsh weather.

What are the band's power requirements and how much room will you need? If available we request two 20-amp dedicated circuits. We can operate with 15-amp dedicated circuits if need be. In special outdoor situations we can perform off one, large power generator. Our ideal stage size is 12'x20' to allow for freedom of movement for all singer's and performers.  However, we have played in spaces as small as 8'x16'.
